Refund policy

EastSong Consulting USA Inc. ("we", "us", "our", or "San Pietro") values your satisfaction with our Italian-imported coffee and related products. This Refund Policy explains our process for refunds, returns, and exchanges. Please read it carefully before placing an order.
1. General Return Window
We accept returns or exchanges for most unopened, unused items within **30 days** of delivery (the date the carrier marks the package as delivered). To be eligible, the item must be in its original condition, packaging, and with all tags/labels intact.
2. Non-Returnable Items – Food Products
Coffee and other food items are perishable and subject to strict health and safety standards. For these reasons:
- **Opened bags/packages of coffee** cannot be returned or refunded under any circumstances (including change of mind, taste preference, or personal preference).
- Once a coffee bag has been opened or used, it is considered non-returnable due to food safety regulations and hygiene concerns.
3. Damaged, Defective, or Contaminated Shipments
We take great care in packaging and shipping our products. If your order arrives damaged, defective, or shows signs of contamination (e.g., torn bag, leaking, mold, foreign objects, or other quality issues):
- Please contact us **immediately** (within 7 days of delivery) at **return@san-pietro.us**.
- Send clear photos of the package, the damage/defect, and (if applicable) the product itself.
- Do **not** discard the item until we respond.
We will review your photos promptly (usually within 1–2 business days) and, if the issue is confirmed as our responsibility:
- Offer a full refund (including original shipping costs),
- Send a replacement (at no extra cost), or
- Provide store credit — whichever you prefer.
We may request return of the damaged item for inspection (return shipping prepaid by us in such cases).
4. Wrong Item or Order Errors
If you receive the incorrect product or we make an error in your order:
- Contact us at **return@san-pietro.us** within 7 days of delivery with photos/details.
- We will arrange a replacement or full refund (including shipping) at no cost to you.
5. Refunds
- Refunds are processed to the original payment method.
- Once approved and (if required) the returned item is received and inspected, refunds typically take 5–10 business days to appear in your account (depending on your bank/credit card issuer).
- Original shipping fees are non-refundable except in cases of our error (damage, defect, wrong item).
- Return shipping costs are your responsibility unless the return is due to our error.
6. How to Initiate a Return (for eligible unopened items)
1. Email **return@san-pietro.us** with your order number and reason for return.
2. We will provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and instructions.
3. Ship the item back (insured if valuable) to the address we provide.
4. Items returned without an RMA may be refused or delayed.
7. Exceptions and Final Sale Items
Certain promotions or clearance items may be marked as "final sale" and non-returnable (except for damage/defect). We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not comply with this policy.
